How studying agriculture works in Poland

Poland has several specialized universities of life sciences (uniwersytety przyrodnicze) and agricultural universities, alongside agricultural faculties at general universities. Typical programs are rolnictwo (agriculture), ogrodnictwo (horticulture) and zootechnika (animal science): a first-cycle engineering degree (inżynier, usually three and a half years) followed by a second-cycle master's degree (magister inżynier or magister, usually one and a half years).
