How studying agriculture works in Hungary

Agriculture is taught at universities, above all the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), which merged several agricultural institutions, and at agricultural faculties of other universities. Programs follow the Bologna structure: a bachelor's degree typically of three years (180 ECTS), a master's degree typically of two years (120 ECTS), and doctoral degrees. Some programs are taught in English.
