How studying agriculture works in France

Agronomy is largely taught at specialized engineering schools (écoles d'ingénieurs agronomes). Their diplôme d'ingénieur takes three years after preparatory classes or an equivalent first cycle and confers the grade of master. Universities offer the three-year licence (bachelor's level, 180 ECTS) and master's degrees.
