How studying agriculture works in Belgium

Agriculture is taught at universities and at university colleges (hogescholen). In Flanders, universities such as Ghent and Leuven offer three-year academic bachelor's programs and one- to two-year master's programs, for example in bioscience engineering; university colleges offer practice-oriented professional bachelor's programs. Teaching is in Dutch in Flanders, with some English-taught master's programs.
